Deciphering the World of Texting












I recently came across an article that deciphered the world of Internet/Texting acronyms for parents. This is a great tool for you as you monitor your child's online behaviors.

ASLP: Age/sex/location/picture
CD9: Code 9, parents are around
GNOC: Get naked on (Web) camera
IWSN: I want sex now
KPC: Keeping parents clueless
LMIRL: Let’s meet in real life
MOS: Mom over shoulder
P911: Parent alert
PAL: Parents are listening
PAW: Parents are watching
PIR: Parent in room
POS: Parent over shoulder
