Make Plans to Visit Memorial for the Unborn

As you celebrate and remember the Sanctity of Human Life this month, make plans to visit the Memorial for the Unborn. Come as a family and spend time in prayer for those hurting because of a past abortion and those in the midst of making a decision about what to do about their unplanned pregnancy. The Memorial is located on the property of St. Paul Lutheran Church-Clifty, at 2555 South 300 East in Columbus.

The memorial was established to allow post-abortive women, men and their families to have a place to grieve and honor their children. The beautiful headstone is engraved with Isaiah 49:15-16 on the front and the names of those who have lost their lives to abortion on the back.

The Memorial began as a senior project in 2005 when Columbus East High School Student Chelsea Sanders raised funds for the headstone. Ross Osborn, former Pregnancy Care Center volunteer and member of St. Paul’s then further enhanced Chelsea’s vision by adding the landscaping, benches and arbors around the site.

Anyone is welcome to visit the Memorial to the Unborn at any time.

This memorial is a beautiful tribute to those babies lost to abortion. It helps all of us to acknowledge the lives lost to abortion and it is thru recognizing the value of their lives the mothers and fathers of the aborted children can find healing. The memorial represents those who have been rememebered. It represents those parents who have found healing, forgiveness and restoration through the post abortion Bible study, Forgiven and Set Free offered by the Pregnancy Care Center. We will be offering another study in March. If you, or someone you know has had an abortion and would benefit from this study, please tell them there is hope and healing. Please contact us for more information.
